Congratulations Mr. President.
You have touched us in ways that we cannot express online or by pen and paper.
May your days on earth be long and your wisdom shine brighter than the morning star.

Congrats Mister President. That's a landmark for the whole world. It's a pity that your grandma never lived to witness history in making but I beleive that she'll be smiling from up there.

If you lose hope, somehow you lose the vitality that keeps life moving, you lose that courage to be, that quality that helps you to go on in spite of all.  And so today I still have a dream.  ~Martin Luther King, Jr., The Trumpet of Conscience, 1968

Martin Luther King’s final speech before his assassination seems highly resonant with Barack Obama’s victory

"We’ve got some difficult days ahead. But it doesn’t matter with me now. Because I’ve been to the mountaintop. And I don’t mind. Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I’m not concerned about that now. I just want to do God’s will. And He’s allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I’ve looked over. And I’ve seen the promised land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people will get to the promised land. And I’m happy, tonight"
